Japanese Bonsai cut paste, also known as wound paste, is a substance used in bonsai to cover and protect wounds created during pruning or branch removal. It acts as a barrier, preventing moisture loss, pathogens, and pests from entering the tree through the open wounds, enabling a quicker and smoother healing process. Once the wound has healed the paste will fall off automatically.  

Simply squeeze get a little on a finger and cover the wound on your tree. 190g goes a very long way.
