Oceana Boost fertiliser is a well-balanced fertiliser pellet specially designed to promote root growth and strength on your bonsai trees. It can be used all year round, but is especially good for application to trees after repotting, as it is designed to help eliminate plant stress and improve the nutrition of the soil.
The fertiliser has organic and natural ingredients, including kelp, seaweed, blood meal, bone meal, rapeseed meal, linseed meal, fish meal, cocoa shell meal, along with added humic acid and vitamin B1 Composition. The overall NPK is 5.5:5.5:4.5, which, while relatively gentle and balanced, is more biased towards root growth and plant development.
By using Oceana Boost, you are providing your bonsai trees with the best possible recovery time. The fish hydrolysate content can generate enzyme activity within the soil, which assists in the breakdown of dead root matter. Compost turns organic matter into soluble nutrients ready to be absorbed via the roots, which allows longer periods between repotting. Longer periods between repotting are able to provide shorter internodes & greater development of secondary and tertiary branch structures.
