Chinese Rose Placement

Choose a location that receives bright, indirect sunlight. Chinese roses can tolerate some direct sun but should be protected from extreme heat. Indoor plants should be placed near a sunny window, while outdoor plants should be sheltered from strong winds and frost.

Chinese Rose Watering and Feeding

  • Water when the top inch of soil feels dry, keeping the soil consistently moist but not waterlogged.
  • Reduce watering during winter.
  • Feed with a balanced liquid fertilizer every 2-4 weeks during the growing season (March–Oct) to promote healthy growth and flowering.

Chinese Rose Pruning and Maintenance

  • Regular pruning helps maintain shape and encourage bushier growth.
  • Remove dead or diseased leaves and flowers to stimulate new blooms.
  • Avoid excessive pruning as this can reduce flowering.

Chinese Rose Repotting

  • Repot in early spring using a well-draining, slightly acidic soil mix.
  • Refresh soil every 2-3 years to promote healthy root growth.
